V. J. Chitra Television actress

 V. J. Chitra, also known as "The Princess of Rajamalai", is an actress and host on the popular Tamil news channel "Vijay". She started her career in the early nineteen seventies in the film industry, where she played a major role in many movies like "Maidan", "Mankatha", "Bagmooli", "Tindukudi"Draj-Laxmi-Vijaya". She has also worked in a few independent films that were more commercially successful than most of her Tamil films.

V.J. Chitra's first major break came in the form of the television show "Pornograph" in which she co-hosted the show with her sister M.B. Chitrakar. In this series, V.J. Chitrakar's character, Shubhli-Rashmi, was a part of the series called "Pornography" and she was quite popular among viewers as she presented a different perspective on women in the movie industry.

She also became popular in the Hindi movie industry, but more for her role in Vijay and the soap opera "Chakravyasav". This time, she was more of a leading lady and was cast in a leading role, which meant that she had to play opposite a leading actor and hence she was more open about her opinions and personal life. She also did not shy away from revealing her inner thoughts in these movies, something that she had never done before.

Vijay is her third major hit film in which she plays a leading role. The success of Vijay came despite several controversies surrounding the actress, which are very much related to her profession as a television actress. However, there were some positive aspects about the film that helped to make it a popular one.

In fact, the director of Vijay was very much in love with V.J. Chitrakar and was determined to cast her in the role of Ashokan, the mother of Vijay. However, her brother M.B. Chitrakar made an attempt to stop the director from casting V.J.

On the other hand, some of her fans did not care at all about the controversies surrounding Vijay and felt that they were mere distractions. Some even believed that the two sisters were actually better actors than the director and were responsible for the success or failure of the film. However, the critical acclaim for Vijay was quite strong and V.J. Chitrakar received critical acclaim as one of the best actresses of the year.

A few years later, Vijay was to star in a sequel called "Vijay" and this time, she had more freedom. She was once again cast in a leading role and this time, she played an actress whose husband was a politician. The role required more courage and V.J. Chitrakar showed her talent in this film, but did not get any further success after that.

Despite the controversies, Vijay has always remained a fan favorite among the Indian audiences. Her films have always managed to remain in the charts for quite some time and she continues to be popular in the Hindi movie industry. And while there may be people who criticize her work, most of the critics are always very much in awe of her acting talent.
